The Elder Games

The Elder Games is a prototype of a vehicular combat game, with a custom chair controller. You play as a crazy old man who has lost his marbles – someone must have stolen them! It’s time to destroy the other residents of the home for the elderly. The custom controller uses a gyroscope and accelerometer to keep track of the chair’s rotation, which is mapped in-game to steer the character. Three buttons make 4 separate functions. Shoot, jump, and boost your way to victory.

  • Programming the controller communication with Unreal.
